Halloween Haunted Ambience
A Digital Refresh
Wes Norwood, a San Francisco Bay Area sound engineer, sought to revitalize a collection of Halloween-themed ambient sounds he originally created and released on iTunes in 2009. Recognizing the potential to reach a broader audience and enhance the project's digital presence, our team was asked to overhaul Wes's online platforms and distribution strategy and redesign his album cover.
We completely redesigned Wes's website to create an immersive digital environment that reflects the unique atmosphere of his Halloween ambient sounds. The updated site features a sleek, user-friendly interface, enabling easy exploration of the soundscapes. Enhanced with responsive design, the website now serves as a central showcase of his work, optimized for streaming and engaging both new visitors and longtime fans.
A key element of our strategy involved expanding Wes's social media footprint. We broadened his platform presence beyond Facebook by adding Instagram to the mix so he could engage with a wider audience. Then we teased the upcoming website relaunch and the "Monster in the Box" promotion on both apps. This allowed us to build anticipation and create buzz around the release, encouraging new and existing followers to visit the new website and explore Wes's ambient sounds.
